Australian Capital Territory

Soak up Australia's history, culture and character - enjoy a guided tour of Parliament House, Electoral Education Centre, the National Museum, National Art Gallery, Australian War Memorial, or be shown around the Australian Institute of Sport by an elite athlete, just to name a few.  Canberra is an extremely educational experience and a must see particularly for students of all ages.

Nearby Snowy Mountains has glacial lakes, snowgum woodlands and colourful alpine meadows near Mount Kosciusko, Australia's tallest peak. See species of plants found nowhere else in the world,  or in winter see or ski the snow at Charlotte Pass, Thredbo or Perisher Blue. In summer go caving, kayacking, trout fishing, and hiking.

For all ages the National Capital is extremely interesting and well worth a visit. Floriade is a major flower festival held annually around October, offering entertainment, regional food and wine, workshops and educational demonstrations and acres of garden bed displays.

Accommodation ranges from student hostels through to 5 star resort style hotels.
